Online and Offline Blackjack Strategy

Blackjack Strategy

The rules and odds are just as good and bad in the casino as they are with live dealers online. So, when we play at an online casino, we can follow the same strategy as always.

The strategic direction

You should always be aware that you can win or lose. There are also always chances of bad luck or winning streaks.

That’s why we recommend:

●

●     Adjust the round bet to the game budget

●     and always keep a cool head instead of trying to push your luck.

maneuvers

There are a number of maneuvers during the actual game that go beyond drawing or rejecting another card:

●     Split: Splitting can be applied when the two base cards form a pair (e.g., two Jacks). You must then pay your base bet again and compete against the dealer with two hands. Note: If you split two Aces, you can only draw one more card from each.

●     Double Down: In Double Down, you can double your bet after receiving the initial cards. After that, the rule in Blackjack is that you must draw exactly one more card.

●     Surrender: In Surrender, you can surrender after receiving your initial two cards. As a consolation, you only lose half of your bet; you can keep the other half.

Blackjack table

Within a single game, you never know which decision is the correct one. Even if you make the most mathematically sensible decision, you can still have very bad luck. Conversely, a less-than-optimal decision can also lead to a win against the dealer.

However, table statistics can definitely be useful, for example, when you’re playing a soft hand (if you have an ace). We’ve summarized the most important findings from the blackjack table in a separate article.

Card counting (online and offline) in blackjack

There’s a famous trick in blackjack: card counting. It’s legal, but not very easy to implement. In simpler terms, it involves paying attention to which cards are or were face up in the game. From this, you can draw conclusions about the probability that the cards still face down have a high or low value.

In Hi-Lo card counting, one analyzes how many high or low cards are already out of the game. If there are many high cards face up, the probability of drawing a lower card increases. However, there are 312 cards in blackjack. Significant statistical changes can only occur when a corresponding number of cards have been revealed.

Tricks and Strategies

Many casino tricks, such as the Martingale strategy and the 1326 system, were originally developed for roulette, but they can also be perfectly applied to blackjack.

But beware: these are all cool tricks, but they don’t lead to a sure victory in the end.

Blackjack Side Bets

Another eternal question is that of side and additional bets, such as:

●     Perfect pair

●     21 plus 3

●     lucky ladies

●     As sure

These blackjack side bets are an exciting trick, also offered optionally online at some tables. However, we can’t really recommend them.
